Bhubaneswar: 5T and Nabin Odisha Chairman V K Pandian on Saturday visited Jagannath temple in the pilgrim town of Puri and reviewed the ongoing heritage corridor project.
Inspecting and reviewing progress of work from 5 am to 7 am, Pandian took stock of facilities being created for a comfortable visit of pilgrims during the new year rush.
He directed the officials to augment the place with appropriate holding space for pilgrims and disciplined queue management.
During his visit, Pandian inspected all elements of the corridor project including, progress on landscaping works, matha restoration, queue management system, two-wheeler vehicle parking areas, ETP, garbage chutes and façade painting.
A detailed review of all aspects and challenges was made in the conference hall of Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) office. Pandian instructed the officials concerned to ensure completion all the works as per pre-decided time.
