Mumbai: Bollywood’s top-notch filmmaker Karan Johar, who had distanced himself from all the social media platforms following criticism post-Sushant’s tragic demise, is currently working on a book for children.
Karan took to his Twitter handle on Tuesday to share the news with his fans and wrote, “Wanted to share something exciting! My first picture book for kids ! #thebigthoughtsoflittleLUV ! Coming soon !”
The book titled ‘The Big Thoughts of Little Luv’ revolves around how we differentiate between boys and girls while raising them.
In the book, the filmmaker has shared his experience of parenting his twins, Yash and Roohi.
Karan also posted a video and wrote, “Beautifully illustrated, this book tells the story of twins, Luv and Kusha. As they try to understand gender, and the ways in which we treat boys and girls differently.”
It will be published by Juggernaut Books.
Thanking Twinkle Khanna for introducing him to writing, Karan wrote, “Thank you @mrsfunnybones for introducing me to the wonderful @Chikisarkar @juggernautbook.”
The filmmaker has been at the receiving end for quite some time now for making fun of actor Sushant Singh Rajput in his controversial chat show ‘Koffee With Karan.’
He is also being called out for preferring star kids over outsiders in his movies.
His recent production ‘Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl’, starring Janhvi Kapoor in the lead role, drew a lot of flak for its manipulated storyline.
