Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Tuesday hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “12 years of seva” (service), describing it as a transformative era that has written “a new golden chapter in the history of the Indian Republic.”

The Chief Minister’s remarks coincided with the anniversary of PM Modi’s historic oath-taking ceremony on June 9, 2024, when he assumed office for a third consecutive term.

Governance Transformed into Public Welfare

Taking to social media platform X, CM Majhi highlighted that PM Modi’s visionary leadership over the past 12 years has successfully re-engineered the nation’s governance system. He noted that administration is no longer just a bureaucratic exerc


ise but has become a “powerful instrument of public welfare,” ensuring that development benefits reach the absolute grassroots of society.

“Inspired by the mantra of ‘Seva Paramo Dharma’, this glorious journey of #12YearsOfSeva has empowered the poor and deprived, ensured unassailable national security, ushered in pathbreaking reforms, accelerated infrastructure development, and established India as a prosperous nation on the global map through digital revolution,” Majhi posted.

The Road to ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’

Connecting past achievements to future goals, the Chief Minister emphasised that the milestones of the last 12 years serve as a rock-solid foundation for the national objective of ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’ (Developed India by 2047).

According to Majhi, the government’s track record is a direct reflection of an unwavering commitment to all-round development and a “Nation First” philosophy. He concluded by reiterating that the administration’s successes stand as a testament to a governance system entirely dedicated to the empowerment and prosperity of every Indian citizen.
