Fully-Vaccinated Indians Can Now Travel To This Country Without Quarantine

India has been taken off the ‘Red List’ of another European country.

Yes, with COVID-induced travel restrictions being eased, fully-vaccinated Indians can now travel to Turkey either with a negative RT-PCR test or proof of both COVID-19 vaccine doses approved by World Health Organization (WHO) being administered.

The Turkish interior ministry has issued a fresh circular with revised travel guidelines for people arriving in the country from India, Bangladesh and Pakistan. Some other nations continue to be on Turkey’s Red List.

Passengers travelling from India or those who have been in the country in the last 14 days have to produce a negative RT-PCR test report done not more than 72 hours prior to landing in Turkey.

Also, quarantine is not mandatory for travellers from India, Pakistan and Bangladesh if they have a full vaccination certificate. At least 14 days should have passed since the second dose. For Johnson & Johnson vaccines, though, proof of one dose will suffice.

Like the rest of the world, Turkey is a favourite tourist destination of Indians.
