Nuapada: Eight persons were injured in a mishap during a ‘Maut Ka Kuan’ stunt show at Sinapali of Nuapada district.
According to available information, the platform on which the spectators were standing and watching the show at a Meena Bazaar collapsed at around 9 pm on Monday, following which, eight persons fell down from a height of 50 feet.
The injured were immediately rushed to Sinapali Community Health Centre. Four among them, who sustained serious injuries, were shifted to Nuapada and Bhawanipatna Hospitals after their condition deteriorated.
The stunt show was being organised illegally, said police sources.
