Bhubaneswar: In order to further extend its support to the UPSC aspirants from Odisha, the Gopabandhu Academy of Administration (GAA) in Bhubaneswar has opened a Mock Interview Cell in its administrative building.
Raj Kumar Sharma, Director General of the Academy on Monday inaugurated the Mock Interview Cell.
Initially, seven Odia UPSC aspirants, who have qualified the main examination and are staying in different parts of the country joined the Mock Interview Cell online. Later, four other aspirants joined. The cell was started on January 9 with the experience shared by Prathamesh, and Rina Pradhan, both IAS officers of 2021 batch, online.
The mock interview was organised under the expert panel members of Aurobindo Behera, IAS (Retd), Saswat Mishra, principal secretary to Governor, Akhil Bihari Ota, IAS (Retd), Nikhil Pawan Kalyan , Commissioner, Cuttack Municipality Commissioner and Prof KVD Prakash, Dean-IIE and HRD, Centurion University through online as well as physical mode.
Till date, four mock interviews have been conducted at the academy. Besides, several sessions on current affairs, history and culture of Odisha have been taken by experts and experience shared by IAS officers.
Manish Agrawal, Joint Secretary, P&C department, Pratap Kumar Mishra, Deputy Director General, Himansu Bhushan Panda, Additional Commissioner, Bibhuti Bhusan Mishra, Additional Director, Kananbala Nayak, Joint Director (Accounts) and Mamatarani Naik, Deputy Director of the academy were present at the inauguration.
