Bhubaneswar: Three more persons succumbed to coronavirus in Odisha in the last 24 hours, taking the toll to 86 on Saturday.
Two of the deaths were reported from Ganjam district and one from Gajapati. This was the third COVID-19 fatality in Gajapati district.
The details of the deceased are:
– A 63-year old male of Ganjam district
– A 60-year old male of Ganjam district
– A 48-year old female of Gajapati district. The deceased was also suffering from obesity and sleep apnea.
All three succumbed while undergoing treatment, Health Department sources said.
With the latest deaths, the virus has claimed 52 lives in Ganjam, 13 in Khurda, eight in Cuttack, three each in Gajapati and Puri, two in Angul and one each in Sundargarh, Bargarh, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada and Rayagada districts so far.
