Ganjam: Aska police raided a gambling den at Marathibasa in Ganjam district late on Friday and arrested 15 persons on charges of gambling.
According to police sources, a raid was carried out on specific information and the gamblers nabbed. Cash to the tune of Rs 35,000, 18 cell phones and two motorcycles were recovered from them.
Earlier on September 18, as many as eight gamblers were nabbed during a similar raid from Berhampur. Eight cellphones and Rs 6 lakh in cash were seized from those arrested.
