Bhubaneswar: The Quick Action Team (QAT) of Commissionerate Police cracked down on an organised gambling den at Ashok Nagar on Sunday.
The police took into custody 19 persons on charges of gambling and seized betting money worth Rs 58, 800 and othet items from the spot.
According to police sources, the raid was conducted after a tip-off from reliable sources.
Investigations are ongoing to ascertain that how long the gambling den had been running in the area, police sources informed.
