Bhubaneswar: The Odisha State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (OSCPCR) will seek a report from the Crime Branch (CB) on the delay in the investigation into the gangrape of a minor girl in the city.
Talking to the mediapersons on Sunday, OSCPCR chairperson Sandhyabati Pradhan said that they had received the probe report from the DCP Bhubaneswar and the report by the OTV MD about the incident.
If needed, the OTV MD will be summoned to appear before the Commission on this matter, she said.
Stating that the CB is investigating the case as per the report of the Bhubaneswar DCP, Pradhan said that the Commission will seek a clarification from the state investigative agency on the delay in the investigation.
