New Delhi: Gangster-turned-politician Mohammad Shahabuddin died while undergoing treatment for COVID-19 at a Delhi hospital on Saturday.
According to sources, Shahabuddin had contracted the virus on April 20 and admitted to DDU hospital.
Shahabuddin, who was a former MP of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), was convicted for murder and had been serving a life sentence in Tihar Jail in Delhi, The Indian Express reported.
