Berhampur: Police on Wednesday seized 28.45 kg of ganja worth Rs 1 lakh and arrested wanted criminal Sagar Muli in this connection in Ganjam district.
A police team led by SI Bibhuti Bhushan Sethi of BNPur police station nabbed Sagar near the sub-way of Khodasingi bridge during the special drive against narcotics in the morning. He was carrying the contraband concealed in two bags on a bike not having registration number.
Police have registered a case under sections 20 (B)II (C) of NDPS Act in this regard.
