Berhampur: In a joint raid, Kanisi Tehasildar and Excise department seized 3.5 quintal ganja worth Rs 17 lakh from an abandoned house in Auto Nagar Haldiapadar under Golanthara police limits in Odisha’s Ganjam district on Monday. The contraband was concealed in 12 bags, Excise department sources said.
In another incident, police seized 30 kg ganja from two bikes at Padarpalli Square. The two riders fled from the spot.
