Bhadrak: Three miscreants allegedly looted Rs 10.8 lakh after attacking an employee of a gas agency with sharp weapons near Jijharpur in Bhadrak on Monday.
The victim, identified as Pramod Bhanja, was rescued by locals and admitted to Tihidi Community Health Centre
The incident took place when Bhanja was heading towards Tihidi branch of UCO Bank to deposit the cash, sources said, adding that the looter picked up the bag after it fell from his hand and fled the spot.
He has lodged a complaint in this connection with Tihidi police and investigation is underway.
