Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated Adivasi Mela 2020 at the Idco Exhibition ground here on Sunday.
An initiative of ST & SCRTI Department, it aims to celebrate the art, dance and handicrafts of Odisha’s indigenous communities.
The mela is a huge crowd puller since genuine tribal organic products, jewellery and food is up for sale.
Looking into the huge footfall during the mela, the Mo School Abhiyan Parichalana Sangathan has opened a large exhibition stall at this grand event. It has on display the activities undertaken by Mo School Abhiyan.
Beautiful backdrops, newsletters, leaflets, audio visual are being displayed at the exhibition to create awareness among the parents, alumni and students to collaborate, connect and contribute to their alma mater. An elegant selfie point is also another attraction for the visitors to celebrate the dream of Mo School Abhiyan.
The stall is manned by the staff of the Mo School office.
Chairperson of Mo School Abhiyan, Susmita Bagchi is optimistic about this alumni outreach programme. She appealed to all the visitors to visit the stall and take part in the development of education though alumni connect programme.
