Bhubaneswar: The 25-member German hockey team along with their team manager Eric Langner visited Odisha Police Stall at Fan Village inside Kalinga Stadium here on Thursday afternoon.
When the team reached the Fan Village, they were given a rousing welcome by the police band.
Director, (SCRB) Dr. Sundhanshu Sarangi, Additional CP Sanjaya Singh, IGP (L/O)Amitav Thakur and other senior officers received the players at the main gate.
The players and officials interacted with DGP Dr R P Sharma and other senior officers of Odisha Police.
The DGP also felicitated all the team members.
Team manager Eric Langner also spoke on the occasion and thanked Odisha Police and people of the state for the hospitality.
Hockey lovers and mediapersons also interacted with them, and took selfies.
