Bhubaneswar: Permissions for different social functions in the capital city can be obtained from the comfort of home now.
The Bhubaneswar Smart City Limited (BSCL) has developed A website permissions.bhubaneswar.me for Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) to issue permissions.
Permissions for hosting marriage functions, funeral rites, and thread ceremonies can now be obtained at the click of a mouse.
To get the online permission an applicant has to register on the system, login through OTP Authentication System for enhanced security, fill the basic details in the application form such as name, age , date of functions, number of guests etc.
After furnishing the details one has to submit the application form. The application shall be scrutinized by officers concerned of BMC and it shall be approved on meeting the compliances.
The approval notification shall be shared with the applicant through SMS, e-mail and notification on the application and once the application is approved, the permission letter can be downloaded through the link shared in the e-mail and SMS, informed Sanjay Kumar Singh, MD and CEO of BSCL cum BMC Commissioner.
