Get Ready For Amitabh Bachchan’s KBC 13; Watch Part 1 Of Campaign Video Here

Mumbai: Amitabh Bachchan will soon be back on small screen as season 13 of Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) prepares to go on air in the last week of August.

The first part of KBC’s three-episode brand video, titled ‘Sammaan’ (respect), was unveiled on Friday. It’s been produced by ad man and ‘Dangal’ director Nitesh Tiwari, who has been doing it for the last 11 years, and written by Nikhil Mehrotra.

Shot in Madhya Pradesh’s Berchha, the 2-minute, 40-second short film stars ‘Peepli Live’ actor Omkar Das Manikpuri and local people.

According to Tiwari, shooting the promo film at a village goes to show how Kaun Banega Crorepati resonates with people from all sections of society.

“We believe that KBC is not just a game show. It has become a part of our lives. We thought that the approach cannot be showcased in a few seconds and needed different storytelling. We wanted to make a short film that celebrates the spirit of KBC,” said Tiwari.
