Mumbai: The countdown has begun, Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) 13 will be on your TV screens in another 24 hours.
Even as the host remains unchanged – the one and only Amitabh Bachchan – the new season of the popular game show will feature some major changes, E Times reported.
As you prepare to get hooked to KBC once again, here are some of the new rules and old features to make a comeback:
* ‘Fastest Finger First’, which used to be the final step to reach the ‘hot seat’ in front of Big B, is being modified to ‘Triple Test’. Unlike previous seasons where contestants had to arrange answers in chronological order, this time they will have to answer three GK questions. The one with correct answers in the shortest time will get the chance to play the quiz with Big B.
* After a year’s absence due to the COVID-19 pandemic, studio audience is set to return
* KBC 13 will also see the return of the Audience Poll lifeline, which helps the contestant to take help from the audience when they are don’t know the answer. Other three lifelines will be 50:50, Ask The Expert and Flip The Question
* Bachchan will celebrate ‘Shaandaar Shukravaar’ every Friday, when he will be welcoming celebrities from all walks of life to play the quiz
* The first few questions, which are to be answered by contestants within a given time, will see the timer being renamed as ‘Dhuk Dhuki Ji’ from the earlier ‘Chalpadi Ji’
These changes apart, the set for the 13th season of KBC will have a new look. The stage floor will be designed with LED lights and Augmented Reality will be introduced.
