Girl From UP Found Dead Under Mysterious Circumstances In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: A girl was found dead under mysterious circumstances inside a house in Bhubaneswar on Monday evening.

According to sources, the deceased, a native of Uttar Pradesh, was found hanging in the house at Sriram Nagar slum under Mancheswar police station here. She worked as a caretaker of the child of the owner.

Sources further said that the woman, whom the girl stayed with, had locked the house from outside fearing that she might elope with her lover. She, however, later found the door locked from inside and her body hanging from the fan.

On being informed, Mancheswar police reached the spot and started an investigation into the incident with the help of a scientific team. It is yet to be ascertained whether it was a case of suicide or murder since the house was locked from outside.
