Sundargarh: In a shocking incident, a college girl was allegedly gang-raped by her classmates at a forest in Balisankara area in Sundargarh.
Though the incident occurred on June 26, it came to fore, after a written complaint was lodged at the Sadar Police Station here on Monday.
According to sources, five college boys kidnapped the +3 first year student, when she was returning home from college.
The accused students took her to a nearby forest forcefully and allegedly raped her.
The victim narrated the ordeal to her parents, following which they lodged complaint in the police station. The police detained the five accused for interrogation.
Further investigation into the matter is on.
