Kalahandi: A minor girl allegedly committed suicide at Mahadeb Pada in Kalahandi on Saturday night.
Sources said that Rohini Naik had asked her parents for a new pair of slippers. When her parents did not buy her the new set, she committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling.
Her parents found her hanging on Sunday morning. On being informed, the police reached the spot and began investigations into the matter.
