Mayurbhanj: A Class-VIII girl student was found dead under mysterious circumstances at Rasgovindpur shelter home in Baripada on Tuesday.
Shelter home authorities spotted the body this morning and informed the police.
Police soon reached the spot and sent the body to a nearby hospital for postmortem. The exact cause behind her death is yet to be ascertained.
Anticipating some untoward situation, police forces have also been deployed near the shelter home.
