Nagpur: The girlfriend of a man who died during sex with a tightened rope around his neck has been sent to police remand till January 13.
A murder case was lodged by the police against the man’s girlfriend based on complaints of the family of the deceased man. The incident took place at a lodge in the Khaparkheda area of Nagpur on last Friday. The woman was produced before a local court which sent her to police remand till January 13.
According to the cops, the woman tied the man’s hands and legs to a chair and put another rope around his neck to enhance sexual pleasure, which later proved fatal.
“The man had been in a relationship with the woman, who is married and has a child, for the last five years. Both of them came to the lodge on Thursday night to spend time together. The woman tied his hands and legs to a chair with a nylon rope during sex. She allegedly used another rope around his neck to heighten sexual arousal,” a police officer told news agency PTI.
According to the police, after tying the man, the woman went to the washroom. At this time, the chair slipped in a freak accident and the rope around the man’s neck got tightened, which turned into a noose that suffocated him.
“When the woman returned, she found her partner lying motionless,” the officer told the news agency.
