New Delhi: The girls once again outperformed the boys in the final Class XII examinations whose results were announced by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Friday.
Of 13,04,561 students, who had appeared at the annual examination, 12,96,318 have come out successful at the rate of 99.37%. While 99.67% of girl students have cleared the examination, 99.13% of boys were successful.
As per the results, 5.37% of students have scored more than 95% in the examination, while 11.51% have secured between 90 and 95 per cent.
The CBSE released the results on its official website www.cbseresults.nic.in and www.cbse.gov.in. Besides, the results are available in UMANG, DigiLocker, SMS Organiser and DigiResults apps.
The CBSE had cancelled this year’s paper-based examination in the wake of the COVID pandemic. It announced the results after evaluation of the students on the basis of their performance in Class X, XI and internal examinations of Class XII.
