New Delhi: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, speaking on Income-Tax in her Union Budget speech, used “she” instead of the typical and usually used “he” for taxpayers.

Praising the FM for her gender-inclusive speech, Radhika Gupta, the CEO of Edelweiss Asset Management Ltd, lauded Sitharaman on Twitter.

Nasscom chief Debjani Ghosh too reacted with a “loved it”.
