Kolkata: Indian Institute of Technology-Kharagpur’s (IIT-K) graduate start-up team ‘EcoDabba’ secured the third position in the Global Business Challenge 2020. The competition was organised by QUT Brisbane, Griffith University in Queensland, and supported by the United Nations and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
The IIT-K, the only Indian outfit in the Top 3, emerged winners competing with 153 teams from 23 countries. EcoDabba team offered a solution for waste reduction in food packaging.
IIT-K provided a sustainable, eco-friendly solution to handle food packaging in the post-pandemic scenario.
