Following Dhanmati Xess’ triumph on Friday, Odisha athletes added three more gold medals to their tally on Day 2.
Omkar Prasad Nanda topped the boys’ U-16 shot put event with an effort of 18.34 metres.
Then came a couple of sprint gold medals.
Lalu Bhoi left the remaining runners in his wake to win the U-20 men’s 100m race. Jayram D followed suit, emerging winner in U-18 men’s 100m.
All three winners are products of Odisha Reliance Foundation Athletic High Performance Centre.
