Bargarh: Three days after the horrific Balasore rail disaster, a goods train reportedly derailed in Bargarh district of Odisha on Monday.
No injury to anyone was reported in the incident when around five wagons of the goods train derailed near Mendhapali in Bargarh district, sources said.
The goods train was reportedly carrying limestone from Dunguri area when it derailed. There has been no casualty.
This is completely a narrow gauge siding of a private cement company. All the infrastructure including rolling stock, like; engine, wagons, train track (narrow gauge) are being maintained by the company, only.
There is no role of Railways in this matter, East Coast Railway (ECoR) soruces said. It is not connected with Indian Railway system, they added.
The private narrow gauge rail line is between Dunguri limestone mines and cement plant of ACC Bargarh.
