Goods Train Derails In Odisha’s Koraput, Traffic Hit

Koraput: Six wagons of a goods train derailed aroundt 6 km from Koraput railway station in Odisha on Friday, affecting rail services on the route.

According to sources, the goods train was en route to Visakhapatnam from Kirandul when six of its wagons derailed.

However, no injury to anyone has been reported due to the mishap.

Senior railway officials have reached the spot and the work of clearing the track is going on.

Efforts are on to restore normal traffic on the route. Further details awaited.
