Koraput: Train services between Koraput and Vishakhapatnam were disrupted after four wagons of a goods train derailed near Jerty railway station in Odisha early on Tuesday.
Railway sources said the incident took place around 4.30 am when the goods train was on way to Vishakhapatnam from Jagdalpur in Chhattisgarh.
Following information, Railway officials and engineers rushed to the spot with a rescue operation van and began operations to clear the track.
The repair of the railway tracks is going on a war-footing to resume train services on the route, Railway officials informed.
