Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday took to Twitter to appeal to voters, specially first-time voters, to exercise their democratic rights and build a “glorious future for Odisha and the country”.
Voting for four parliamentary constituencies, Berhampur, Kalahandi Narangpur and Koraput, began on Thursday.
Celebs such as sand artist Sudarsan Patnaik too created awareness about voting. Search engine giant Google created a doodle with an inked finger. Clicking on the doodle leads to a page that explains how voting is done:
Voting Process at Polling Booth:
Voting in Cuttack and Bhubaneswar will be held on April 23. Other places in Odisha will see voting on April 18 and 29. Counting will take place on May 23.
