Berhampur: Gopalpur beach wore a deserted look on Monday with the administration restricting visitors, anticipating large congregations on account of Holi.
“We took this decision to ensure strict observance of COVID-19 protocol and requested people to cooperate,” said Ganjam sub-collector Kabindra Kumar Sahoo.
Holi revellers from Berhampur and nearby areas generally go to Gopalpur beach every year for bathing after the celebrations.
