Governor To Unfurl National Flag On Republic Day In Odisha Capital; Check The List

Bhubaneswar: Governor Raghubar Das will unfurl the National Flag at the state-level Republic Day function on Mahatma Gandhi Road in Odisha capital.

The CMO office on Sunday released the list of ministers and other dignitaries, who will unfurl and take salute at different places in the state on January 26. Ministers has been assigned the responsibility in 17 districts. RDCs will unfurl Triclour in Berhampur and Rourkela and collectors in the remaining districts headquarters.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will not be unfurling the National Flag this time. Official sources said he will attend the state-level function alongside the Governor in Bhubaneswar. This has become the practice for the last few years. Prior to that, the CM used to unfurl the Tricolour in Cuttack.
