Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has announced creation of 2,000 additional posts of doctors for the
peripheral health institutions of the state.
According to an official order issued by the Health and Family Welfare department, the government has sanctioned creation of 2,000 posts of Leave Training Reserve Medical Officers (LTRMOs) in the rank of Group-A (Junior Branch) of Odisha Medical and Health Services (OMHS) cadre in the scale of pay of level-1 2 of Pay Matrix of ORSP Rules, 2017.
As per the order, 50 posts of LTRMOs have been created in each of all 30 district headquarters hospitals (DHHs) totalling 1500 posts, 15 posts of LTRMOs in each of 32 sub-divisional hospitals with a total of 480 and 20 posts in Rourkela Government Hospital (RGH) in Sundargarh district.
The doctors’ posts have been created in the sub-divisional hospitals of Athamalik, Pallahara, Talcher, Nilgiri, Patnagarh, Titlagarh, Padampur, Athagarh, Banki, Hindol, Kamakhyanagar, Aska, Bhanjanagar, Chhatrapur, Hinjilicut, Dharmagarh, Baliguda, Anandapur, Champua, Pattamundai, Karanjia, Rairangpur, Udala, Chitrakonda, Mathili, Umerkote, Khariar, Gunupur, Kuchinda, Rairakhol, Biramaharajpur and Bonai, the order mentioned.
