Govt Office In Odisha Capital Sealed After 6 Test COVID-19 Positive

Bhubaneswar: Odisha State Civil Supplies Corporation office at Nayapalli in the Odisha capital was sealed on Monday after six staff tested positive for COVID-19.

The SW zone enforcement squad of the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has sealed the office for 48 hours as a preventive measure.

According to a BMC release, RT-PCR test has been conducted on all employees present in the office to know the spread of virus among them.

The authorities concerned has also been directed to sanitise the office premises, the release added.

Earlier, in the day the a private coaching centre in Jayadev Vihar area was sealed for violating COVID-19 guidelines.

On Monday, the South East Zone enforcement team imposed a fine of Rs 12,500 on shops violating the COVID-19 guidelines in the city.
