Bhawanipatna: An overseer of the state government’s watershed mission in Kalahandi district remains untraced after he went missing since September 22.
According to police sources, the overseer, Dhananjay Dhoba was going to Thuamul Rampur from Bhawanipatna on September 22. But he did not reach his destination on the day.
His mobile was switched off when he reached Gunpur on the way, the sources said adding that since stretch is covered by dense forest, normally mobile network does not work.
As Dhoba remained untraced, one of his colleagues, Swarup Singhdeo filed a missing person case in Thuamul Rampur police station. The OIC of the police station said a case has been registered and investigation is on to trace the missing overseer.
Dhoba’s wife and son live in Sirigudi of Rayagada district.
