New Delhi: Following the confusion over the price of the COVID-19 vaccines — Covishield and Covaxin — the central government has declared that it will procure both the COVID-19 vaccines at Rs 150 per dose.
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare also announced that the government-procured vaccine will be provided free to states.
“The government of India’s procurement price for both #COVID19 vaccines remains Rs 150 per dose. GOI procured doses will continue to be provided totally free to States: Ministry of Health and Family Welfare,” tweeted news agency ANI.
