Bhubaneswar: As many as 11 colleges in Odisha’s Ganjam district will be transformed under Mo College Abhijan programme of the state government’s 5T initiative.
With global standard laboratory and improved Classrooms, now students will have a whole new experience while pursuing higher studies.
Like schools, these colleges will be overhauled under 5-T college transformation program. Rungta Sons Pvt Ltd has sanctioned Rs 4.5 crore under its ‘CSR’ fund for the transformation of eight Plus II colleges/higher secondary schools and three degree colleges of the district. The government has granted double matching grant amounting to Rs 9 crore under Mo College Abhijan.
Through this transformation programme, students will be enriched with provided smart classrooms, new auditoriums, common rooms, new toilets, basketball and volleyball courts. Similarly, higher secondary schools and degree colleges will be accessing to smart classrooms, improved infra, wider exposure through e-libraries, hygiene through better toilet facilities and different sports.
