Bhubaneswar: To ensure proper and adequate COVID-19 testing facilities across Odisha, the state government has appealed to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), New Delhi, to set up three more testing centres across the state.
According to reports, the state government wants the testing facilities to be set up at MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur, VIMSAR in Burla and IGH in Rourkela.
At present, the COVID-19 testing facilities are available at the Regional Medical Research Centre (RMRC) and AIIMs in Bhubaneswar and SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.
