Cuttack: The vigilance sleuths on Thursday seized gold and diamond-studded jewelleries worth Rs 12 lakh from the bank locker of Head of the Department of Clinical Hematology at SCB Medical College and Hospital Dr Rabinda Kumar Jena, whose houses were raided in connection with a disproportionate assets (DA) case on Wednesday.
According to reports, the anti-corruption officials recovered more than 400 grams diamond-studded gold jewelleries from the bank locker, which was being maintained by Jena and his wife.
Earlier, properties to the tune of more than Rs 3 crore were detected during raids at his office and houses in Cuttack.
