Bhubaneswar: Payal Ghosh, who played the character of ‘Pooja Patel,’ in the 2017 romantic-comedy film, ‘Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi,’ along with Rishi Kapoor; is all for praise for veteran actor.
Sharing her experience she said, “He was so humble and down to earth. It was a great learning experience working with veteran like him.” The movie, a cross cultural comedy starring Paresh Rawal, Prem Chopra, Vir Das, was her first in Bollywood.
In Cuttack to inaugurate a showroom, the actress said, “I loved both Bhubaneswar and Cuttack. People are very nice and especially the food is amazing.”
Payal made her debut into cinema first with a Telegu movie ‘Pranayam’ released in 2009. She has also acted in Kannada films. “It was very difficult to get a break in Bollywood. When I got an opportunity in South Indian films, I did those. People in South are very professional. While my next Hindi rom-com is coming up, I will definitely work in South films whenever I get an opportunity,” said Payal.
She also acted in Canadian film in which she played the role of a school girl.
