Bhubaneswar: GRIDCO has proposed its average bulk supply price (BSP) of energy at 393.39 paise per unit for 2021-22 financial year.
In its application submitted to the Odisha Electricity Regulatory Commission (OERC) on Tuesday, the GRIDCO mentioned its Aggregate Revenue Requirement (ARR) and Bulk Supply Price (BSP) for the year.
It has estimated to sell 27315 MU of energy to the DISCOMs and 60 MU emergency power to the CGPs. Considering transmission loss of 3% in state transmission system, the corporation has projected to procure 28221.67 MU for the state requirement during the financial year.
However, it has estimated total energy availability of 35290.03 MU from all sources and proposed to procure the same at an average price of 305.89 paise per unit.
GRIDCO has submitted that it will trade balance energy of 7068.36 MU after meeting the requirement of DISCOMs and earn a revenue of Rs 1464.70 crore. It has estimated net revenue requirement to the tune of Rs 10,745.42 crore.
Total 8 objectors submitted their objections/suggestions/views on the application and out of them 6 objectors participated in the hearing. The Commission will pass its order in the last week of March.
