Boudh: A wedding procession has become the talk of Odisha with the groom from Bhaliaguda village under Chhatrang Gram Panchayat in Boudh district taking the ride on a bulldozer decorated with balloons and flowers instead of the usual car.
Wedding took place at Kiajhara village under Khandapada block in Nayagarh district.
According to sources, the groom, identified as Gangadhar Behera, opted for the motorised machine as a mark of respect for his brother who is a JCB operator. While the baratis were ecstatic as they danced to beats of the DJ and drums, people at the wedding venue were surprised to see the groom sitting on the blades in front of the bulldozer.
Onlookers too were amazed to see such a unique way of arriving at a wedding and captured the incident on their mobile phones. A video of the procession has also gone viral.
