Growing Bonhomie Between BJP’s Jagannath Pradhan & BJD!

Bhubaneswar: Senior BJP leader Jagannath Pradhan’s recent meetings with BJD leaders Pranab Prakash Das and Sushant Rout has fueled speculation about the possibility of him quitting the saffron party again.

Speaking to a local channel, Pradhan expressed his dissatisfaction with the party affairs. “People within the BJP are causing harm to the party. The party president has assured to resolve the matter,” he said.

He said that he cannot remain a mute spectator to it having been with the party for the last 27 years.

The BJP leader further said that he had nothing to hide. “Sushant is an old friend, so there is no harm in meeting him,” he said.

In June 2020, Pradhan had quit BJP citing personal reasons after Babu Singh was appointed as the next president of the Bhubaneswar organisational district. Senior BJP  leader and Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, however, later convinced the state executive member to withdraw his resignation.
