Bhubaneswar: The Union Budget, with high focus on Atmanirbhar Bharat, is a growth-oriented and industry-friendly one, said Monica Nayyar Patnaik, Chairperson, FICCI Odisha Council.

At a time when Odisha is aggressively showcasing its high investment potential in various sectors and taking multiple initiatives to attract investors across the globe, Union Finance Minister’s efforts to improve Ease of Doing Business and encourage compliance will greatly support these initiatives, said Patnaik. This would certainly boost investment promotion and accelerate industrial development, added the MD of Sambad Group.

She further said proper attention has been given for both urban and rural infrastructure development and added that it would enhance Ease of Living and foster economic growth.

“It is heartening to see continuation of measures towards easing the life of taxpayers and this is reflective of government reposing greater faith and trust in the taxpayers,” she added.

She also also thanked the Finance Minister for taking into consideration several key reforms-driven recommendations of FICCI and incorporating them in the Budget.
