Bargarh: Three GST (Goods and Services Tax) teams drawn from Bargarh, Sambalpur and Raurkela simultaneously raided a shop and godown at Padmapur on Jagdalpur road on Saturday.
According to Bargarh CT and GST deputy commissioner Rajanikant Sethi, the shop and godowns of Baidyanath Agarwal have been raided and his bills, documents and taxes pertainiing to his sales and stocks are being verified. “It is a routine job. There is nothing unusual in the raid. We conduct searches on premises in case of doubt,” said Sethi.
