New Delhi: Gujarat-based cardiologist, Dr Gaurav Gandhi, who had successfully performed 16,000 heart surgeries, tragically passed away on Tuesday morning due to a heart attack, according to media reports citing police officials. He was only 41.
It was a normal day. Dr Gandhi had dinner and went to sleep as usual, but he never woke up again. According to the police quoting his family members, the young cardiologist did not complain of any discomfort before his passing.
When he didn’t wake up at his usual time of 6 am on Tuesday, his family members got suspicious. They took him to the hospital where he was declared dead. Doctors determined the cause of his death as a heart attack.
Dr Gandhi was highly regarded for his expertise and patient-centred approach in Ahmedabad. In a career spanning 15 years, he was known for his dedication to providing quality healthcare.
His colleagues described him as an inspirational figure who went above and beyond the call of duty to save lives and offer comfort to those in need.
