Koraput: The famous Gupteswar temple in Odisha’s Koraput district will reopen from September 1.
“The devotees can have darshan of Lord Shiv amid strict adherence to the COVID guidelines. However, they are not allowed to carry any offerings to the temple,” Koraput Collector Abdaal Akhtar informed.
Only seven devotees will be allowed into the Garbha Griha at a time.
While announcing the unlock guidelines on July 30, the state government had left the decision to reopen religious places on the respective municipal commissioners and district collectors.
