Bhubaneswar: ‘Banja Tu Meri Rani’ from the movie ‘Tumhari Sulu’ and ‘Suit, Suit’ from ‘Hindi Medium’ made him a household name in India.
City denizens will now get an opportunity to watch singer Guru Randhawa live at Janata Maidan here on May 27.
This was announced at a press meet held in the city on Saturday.
Randhawa, in a press release, expressed his joy for having got a chance to perform in the City of Temples. “I am expecting high level of energy and love from my fans and hope to make the show successful,” he said.
The Guru Randhawa India Tour, being organsied by Bollyboom, Bollywood Dance Music Property of Percept Live, will see attendees grooving to his popular tracks including ‘High Rated Gabru’ which reached 345 Million+ views. The Bhubaneswar concert will be managed by DreamKraft Entertainment.
“We are expecting more than 4,000 spectators and arrangements will also be made for watching the IPL final,” said the organiser.
Speaking to mediapersons, Ankit Mohanty of DreamKraft Entertainment said, “So far, we are receiving overwhelming response from the people of Odisha. It will be an opportunity for youngsters to feel music live.”
Randhawa made his Bollywood singing debut with the movie ‘Hindi Medium’. He bagged the ‘Best Male Debut’ award at the PTC Music Awards 2014 and ‘Best Duo Song’ at the PTC Music Awards 2016.
